Open the Live Map & Explore Your Radius

When you open Frilok, your screen centers on your natural surroundings. You will see markers indicating active local participants within your neighborhood or transit corridor:

  • Dhabas & Eateries: Fresh meals, roadside stops, daily specials, and hours of operation.
  • Farmers & Producers: Fresh harvest at the farm gate or village collection point.
  • Bikes, Taxis & Tempos: Drivers and commuters moving along your route.

Filter or Search by Category & Distance

Use the simple top filter bar to view exactly what you need. Adjust your exploration radius from 500 meters for local walking trips up to 50 kilometers for highway travel.

Tap on any marker or card to view item details, pricing, photos, and current availability status.

Tap Message or Call to reach the provider directly via secure peer-to-peer connection. You can confirm freshness, ask for directions, or coordinate pickup times.

Choose Your Location Mode (Stationary vs. Moving)

Frilok honors how physical work happens:

  • Stationary Spot: Pin your physical farm gate, shop, or dhaba. Your listing remains visible at that location whenever you are open.
  • Moving Transit (Inner GPS): If you are a bike rider, car commuter, or freight tempo driver, turn on route broadcasting. People heading in your direction can see your movement in real time and request a ride.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Frilok charge a percentage commission on sales or rides?

No. Frilok never charges a percentage cut. Buyers pay zero fees, and sellers/drivers pay only a flat, nominal daily listing fee. 100% of your customer payments stay in your pocket.

How are payments handled between buyer and seller?

Payments are settled directly between both parties. You can pay with cash or your preferred direct digital payment (such as UPI) directly into the provider's personal QR code. Frilok does not hold, escrow, or deduct money from your transactions.

Does Frilok work on low-cost phones and 2G/3G connections?

Yes. The Frilok client is built with Dart and Flutter, paired with a lightweight XMPP communication engine powered by ejabberd. It requires minimal data bandwidth and runs smoothly even on entry-level smartphones and spotty cellular networks.

What privacy controls do I have over my location?

Location broadcasting is completely voluntary. When you are offline or not actively selling/driving, you can pause or disable location broadcasting with a single toggle. We never sell or monetize your location history.
