Delete your Frilok account

In the app

1. Open Frilok and go to Me → Privacy & Safety → Delete account.
2. Confirm. If you have nothing open, your account is deleted straight away.
3. If you have an order in progress or an open problem report, the app tells you what is still open. We finish the deletion as soon as they close (for orders, within 30 days at most). Until then you cannot start new orders, and you can cancel the deletion in the app.

Without the app

Send an e-mail to privacy@frilok.com from the e-mail address registered with your account (or tell us the phone number registered with it), with your username and the words "Delete my account".

We check that the request comes from the account holder, then delete the account with the same rules as in the app. We reply within 7 days.

What we delete

• Your profile, photo and username
• Your contacts, and your messages kept on our servers
• Your location data, saved places and location history
• Your settings and the photos you uploaded

Deletion is completed within 30 days of your request.

What we keep, and for how long

• Orders and payments you recorded: kept for the period tax and accounting law requires (in India, up to 8 years), and used for nothing else.
• Basic account record (who asked for deletion and when): 180 days, as the IT Rules 2021 require.
• Records an authority has asked us to preserve: for as long as that request lasts.
• Places you added to the public map: stay on the map, no longer linked to you.
